WE have been going over the discipline of prayer with the girls for quite some time. I had felt for some time that we needed to be praying more with the girls and just establishing a discipline for them and ourselves. While Natalie and I were stuck on a bus for hours a couple of weeks ago, while we were waiting to get through a road construction situation on our way to pick up a team, I came up with the idea to get a chart with all the girls names on them and put on the grid a place for the names, and their requests and then the date that God accomplished the prayer. The assignment is to pray for those who are on the page every night so we won't miss anyone.
I had them bring their prayer requests and we filled out the sheet and placed every request for the girls on the paper. We had almost 40 names, including girls and staff members. Then they started remembering others that had been here for a short time or long time, and other staff members. So I told them to turn the page over and started writing by hand. The other side of the page had almost 100 people on it. It hit me how huge God's vision is for this ministry. We didn't even include teams that have been these last 17 years and how their lives were changed by visiting this ministry. WE have had on the average of 10 teams a year with 15 persons each team. So that is 150 people X's 17 years, which is 2550 people more or less, who have come through this ministry to bless our girls. I don't even know how many more have given gifts or sent items to the girls who have never been. Churches that we have never been in or that they have never seen, have helped us all these years, and then we have over 11,000 people who read the blog page where people from all over the world keep up with the stories of our girls, as we give Glory to God.
I was thinking if we had not come as a family, none of us here that live on the farm and the people who have visited or worked on the farm would ever have met each other. As it is we all have a close bond to each other. All the girls were rescued from some kind of hard situation. The girls and I were overwhelmed at this information. Who can know what kind of plans God has for our lives.
I was amazed that the girls remembered some of the folks who came years ago. I would have expected for the older girls who graduated out of the ministry to remember these names but the girls remembered ones who had touched their lives when they were little. I wanted to share some of the names.

These are just some of the people that they wrote down to pray for every night. I was so overwhelmed at all the people who have been affliated with this ministry that I know and all the folks I have never met. I just wanted you to pray for us and our list. God knows all of our names, and He knew we would all be connected by this ministry to each other. Thanks to all of you who made relationships with our girls. I pray God bless you for your faithfulness to follow through with what God asked you to do. If God is calling you to go anywhere, go quickly. Who knows what He will accomplish through your obedience. God has a plan. I am thankful to be part of His plan. The cool thing if even if it was one girl who needed help God would have still set sent someone to rescue the perishing, care for the dying. God is Amazing.
